R.S. & Odd meme

I had 2 of my 3 R.S. papers yesterday, which Lee and I had to do a full day’s cramming session on Tuesday for. I’ve never done anything like that before… Even the standard night-beforehand scenario was pitifully easy compared to trying to assimilate so much information in so little a space of time. The entire syllabus this year from 8.30am to 4.00pm with only a half hour break totalled up over the time; and then about another 3 hours in the evening…

It was probably little wonder why we couldn’t stop giggling like schoolgirls by the end of it, but it was a little frightening o.O;. Stuff like ‘paraplegic’ kept cropping up, which seemed hilarious at the time, even though it probably shouldn’t be. We really just couldn’t stop laughing over the stupidest of things… My theory is it must be some sort of vent to stop our brains exploding. Something like that, anyway… I can appreciate a little more why people may get cabin fever or go insane when they are so engrossed in something and they don’t stop. The Shining, anyone?

In any case, the questions were very good for the papers. All the stuff we learnt in detail the day before was there; all 4 main ethical theories (Categorical Imperative, Virtue Ethics, Natural Law and Utilitarianism) and Freewill & Determinism and War & Peace both made an appearance, so I could answer 2 of the 4 questions from each paper pretty well. The only thing I’m worried I might have done is cram so much detail in that I didn’t address the question properly, so we’ll just have to see on results day… It’s disconcerting that I feel they went relatively well, because that could mean I was complacent. 00; Nothing I can do now though.

Most of today was spent with Keiron trying to sort out the routes for our DOE expedition in July. I’m now convinced we’ll come back with less people we go with… General Studies was nothing special. The essay questions weren’t particularly nice for me to answer either :\.

Rough tadpole count: No count, although there seem to be less… :\
Development: Lots of them have back legs visible now, although I’m a little concerned at the numbers. They seem so hard to spot now, and that can’t be right when there were about 20 in there…
Other observations: None

What kind of disease are you? Michael:

Not giggling because I managed to deconstruct their entire stupid way of thinking down to a beefy hot drink then?

    I’m so…pleased…about your D of E optimism.

I think tiredness causes the giggles. I couldn’t stop laughing at about 5 o’clock on Saturday morning at the word Bovril, after getting no sleep.

I don’t like the Shining, it scares me!

Hmm, shame about the tadpoles. Maybe some flew away. (?!!)
