Trudging through Thursday

I’m on CD #2 of ‘Queen - The Best Of’ at the moment, and I’m loving it! It’s surprising how many songs you recognise from your childhood when you listen to an older CD such as this. That makes it all the more nostalgic though. Nothing quite like reminiscing over all memories; *points to new avatar*. For those of you who haven’t seen that picture before, it is of ‘Guybrush Threepwood’ from ‘Monkey Island’ - an excellent rpg game I played back in the early 90’s. Hey, but it’s not old yet! The latest installment was just under 2 years ago with Monkey Island 4, and I believe Lucasarts have a 5th one planned. *Crosses fingers*

Nothing much out of the ordinary happened today, though I did catch up with my Japanese work and get a little more grounding on the ‘ta’ form, amongst other things. Most of the Japanese class seem to be disillusioned with the current method of teaching/learning we have at the moment. I can say I’m entirely opposed to that myself, but this *is* a GCSE course funded by the school that we are required to complete in 1/2 the amount of time the regular GCSE would be taken in. Sure, grammar can really tedious, but maybe people are forgetting that without it, we wouldn’t pass the exam. And hey, it’s the only time of the week we get to see one another, so lets try and make the most of it, ne? Things can still be fun if you try to make them so.

In any case, my Internet curfew is up and I’m liable to be disconnected any minute, so I’d best be signing off and call it a day.

Later all.
